Send Us Your Artwork Digitally and Save!
Ace works on both Mac and PC platforms giving your more choices while being as customer friendly as we possibly can. Please refer to the following guidelines when preparing your artwork to send digitally. Remember what is acceptable in Mac is not always acceptable on PC platforms and vice versa. Be sure to include your file name, program, version, and platform that was used to create your art.
General Instructions for sending art on disk or by email
In order for your electronic media to qualify for ACE standard pricing, it must meet our requirements. It must be sized, ganged and color separated exactly the way that you want it to print. All artwork (including text) must be at least 2 points thick to print. Outlines without fills need to be 2 points. Minimum thickness and outlines with a fill need to be 3 points minimum. All non-printing areas need to measure at least 3 points. If these standards are not meth then the art becomes designer pricing. We do nothing to the file except print it out. To ensure that we are printing exactly what you want, your file must be supported with a hard copy of your artwork. Include all pertinent information with your digital AND hard copies of art, along with a completed work order for each file. Please read the program and file requirements below. Adhere to them strictly. Any deviations from these specifications may result in additional art charges. All files and discs need to be checked for viruses. Consult your program user guide for directions. ACE has a final say whether the artwork you send is usable or not. You will be notified of these charges before work is started. Please call if there are questions regarding your files to be sent.
Bitmapped images (.jpg, .tif, .bmp, .gif) are not acceptable as camera ready art for multi-color jobs.

Acceptable File Formats & Artwork Guidelines
Use programs listed above to create you art when sending it via email. We prefer Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw files with text converted to curves, but .eps files with text converted to curves will also work. Converting your ttext to curves will ensure that the font remains the same when we open the file. All lines or outlines need to be a minimum thickness of 2 points. All negative spaces or non-printing areas should be at least 3 points thick to keep the from filling in during the printing process. Use vector art with closed paths, no broken lines. Use Pantone colors for spot separations or 100% CMYK values: 100% cyan, magenta, yellow, and black will print as a solid black for the when the separations are done. Other percentages will print as halftones. If using halftones on your transfer job, they should have a minimum dot frequency of 30 lpi or 30 dpi. Halftone charges are $15 per color.
